APENFT (NFT): The Future of Art Collection and Trading

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) have led to a digital art revolution, as copyright for digital art can now be stored immutably on blockchains. However, the challenge of determining the ownership and authenticity of an art piece doesn’t just reside in the digital art realm — it extends way back in time to the birth of traditional art.

For instance, many art collectors love displaying visually arresting art pieces in their homes, but how many truly know if their art collections are genuine? As counterfeiting techniques become increasingly sophisticated, even experts are finding it difficult to determine whether an art piece is the original or a perfectly copied fraud.

With NFTs, you can easily tell whether the piece of art you bought is authentic, even if you're not an expert, as all the details concerning the art piece can now be stored on a blockchain. APENFT aims to seamlessly blend traditional and digital art with blockchain technology by registering fine art as NFTs.

Beyond using blockchain to promote traditional art, APENFT also functions as an NFT art portal to bring together more artists and art collectors. Read more about APENFT to learn how it can potentially lead to a change in the trajectory of the entire art world.

What Is APENFT?

APENFT is an NFT platform centered around empowering artists and art collectors. Its core businesses include investing in world-class artworks to connect top-tier artists with the NFT world, incubating leading NFT artists to support crypto-native art, sponsoring galleries, organizing art exhibitions and establishing art collections. APENFT’s artworks are stored on-chain as ERC-721/TRC-721 tokens.

APENFT was registered in March 2021 in Singapore, and has since partnered with renowned auction houses like Sotheby's and Christie’s. Its collections encompass renowned artworks like Three Self-Portraits by Andy Warhol and OCEAN FRONT by top NFT artist Beeple.

APENFT also works with Asia's leading art handler and fine art storage provider, Helutrans Group, to provide excellent fine art storage facilities, with over 300,000 square feet of climate-controlled space equipped with fire/smoke detection and 24-hour surveillance for maximum security and protection.

What Is APENFT Marketplace?

The APENFT Marketplace is a multichain NFT and GameFi trading platform where you can view the real-time ranking of all kinds of NFTs categorized according to volume. To trade NFTs in this NFT market, you set up your TronLink Wallet and connect it. Besides offering you a platform to explore top NFT collections, it also features a Launchpad, a GameFi platform, and a separate, independent Tronscription Market.

Initially begun on the TRON blockchain for its high scalability and throughput, APENFT now also runs on BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum blockchains by leveraging the BitTorrent Chain for cross-chain connectivity. The APENFT Marketplace also utilizes BTFS (BitTorrent File System) for decentralized storage to ensure that NFT artworks are securely stored at lower cost, and can easily be accessed by users at any time, without depending upon centralized third parties.

You can be a part of the APENFT VIP Club by holding the Genesis NFT, a limited edition NFT with a maximum of 10,000 pieces, categorized into four levels from lowest to highest as regular, rare, epic and legendary. The higher the level, the more benefits you receive. You'll need to hold between $10,000 to $100,000 worth of either of the following assets in TronLink to earn the Genesis NFT: NFT/TRX/BTT/JST/SUN/WIN/WINNFTHORSE/BAYCTRON.

If you don't hold sufficient assets in your TronLink Wallet, you can still claim the Genesis NFT if you're a VIP Poloniex trader, a crypto KOL, an NFT artist, a blockchain developer or a pre-registered user in the referral program, or if you’ve lost NFT or TRX before.

APENFT Launchpad

APENFT Launchpad holds NFT mystery box events to offer investors the chance to invest in budding NFT projects with potential. New NFT projects can also apply to be incubated on the Launchpad. Ten Launchpad projects have been kicked off so far, with half of them sold out.

APENFT GameFi offers TRON-based games, as well as Launchpad support for developers to launch new gaming DApps. The two trending games featured are WIN NFT HERO and Tap Fantasy. WIN NFT HERO is a teamfight tactic game in which players have to pair strategic formations with hero attributes to win. The game can be played for free. You can own all of the equipment and even the heroes as NFT assets, which can be freely traded on the APENFT Marketplace. Tap Fantasy is an adventure fantasy MMORPG game where you can explore open worlds, develop cuisines, merge equipment and even personalize your hero’s design and skills.

Tronscription Market

The Tronscription Market was released on Mar 10, 2024. Its users can engage in nfts inscription minting. Inscriptions were made popular by Bitcoin in December 2022 via its Ordinals protocol, and the introduction of the BRC-20 token standard enables the attachment of inscription data to fungible cryptocurrencies. The Tronscription protocol produces nfts, the first TRC-20 token which is redeemable.

Participants in the first phase of nfts inscription minting can receive benefits such as exchanging nfts for NFT tokens, access to the whitelist of subsequent events and WIN NFT HERO gift packages. An nfts minting event was also held from Mar 9–13, 2024, in which the top three referrals received 1 nfts minting subsidy worth 80 million NFT tokens.

What Is the APENFT Token (NFT)?

The NFT token is APENFT's governance token. It’s based on the TRC-20 standard, which is compatible with ERC-20. NFT is a deflationary token, with a maximum supply capped at 999.99 trillion. Of these, 30% are allocated to artist partners, 19% to DeFi airdrop and mining, 19% to the NFT team, 2% to initial exchange listing, 20% to NFT works purchase and 10% to partnerships.

Token holders can decide on the management, on-chain distribution and exhibition of APENFT artworks, and vote on the future direction of art collections. NFT tokens are also rewarded to holders of BTC, ETH, TRX and other tokens who participate in APENFT. NFT was originally given out as monthly airdrops to TRX, BTT, JST and WIN holders on the TRON network, but the program was discontinued in January 2023 in a bid to enhance APENFT governance and boost the growth of TRON and the blockchain industry as whole.
